hi!
did this past week just fly by? it’s september now!!? here’s my weekly update below 💓
kandi
awn= a weekly newsletter, fyi :~)

mom is an all around water woman~ she is either chillin on her boat or paddling out to sea or picking up trash on the beaches! she just founded a new non profit called Stand Up To Trash, and she asked me to be on the board! i was excited to capture her spirit in and out of the water in this little clip. she truly is inspiring. enjoy watching in 720p!

gabby has made dana point her home while she completed her bachelors in fine art and a minor in graphic design at LCAD, a local art school in laguna beach. she has the kindest heart, loves to surf, and has chic style. she has major talent for using beautiful, eye-capturing colors in her work. i feel a wave of relaxation and sweetness when i look at her artwork. i got to capture her adding a few details to one of her latest pieces, which is to be hung in her kitchen when completed. thank you gabby <3

check out gabby’s instagram for more of her work!

the other day, on the full moon, i picked a few passion flowers, put them in a jar with water and let them soak in the moonlight. in the morning i combined the liquid with brandy, creating my first flower essence. here’s the recipe/directions i followed.
flower essences’ are liquid extracts used to address profound issues of emotional well-being, soul development, and mind-body health. passion flower essence dissolves nervous tension, promotes restful sleep and spiritual insight. i plan on bottling individual tinctures of my essence, so if you want one please reach out to me!

here is my flower essence~ it turned out to be such a beautiful amber color!
also a lil’ update on my kombucha from last week~ it turned out soo good! the grape flavor was a house favorite.

if you’re into sound healing frequencies or looking for music to meditate to, this has been one of my go-to tracks i put on. i’ll press play if i need to relax, or to soothe a headache. i hope you find it relaxing as well! if you have any recommendations i would love to hear them.

achievement is defined as a thing done successfully, typically by effort, courage, or skill. i wanted to incorporate this word for this weeks journaling, the word achieve just really stood out to me the other day.
how do you define achievement?
what have you achieved recently?
have you helped someone achieve their own thing? how did that feel?
what do you hope to achieve by the end of the day? the month? this year?
